    Mr Hidehiro Konno

    NEXI Japan Chairman and CEO

    Mr Hidehiro Konno was Vice-Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry before being appointed as the Chairman and CEO at NEXI in 2003. Mr Konno served as Vice President of the Berne Union in 2005/2006. He chaired the Working Group for the Berne Union Guiding Principles until their adoption at the AGM in Amsterdam in November 2006.

    Mr John Salinger joined AIG in 1985 after twelve years with Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr Salinger chaired the Berne Union Short Term Committee in 2004/2006. He also chaired the China Buyers Workshop in Shanghai in November 2005 and hosted the Country Risk Seminar in Miami in February 2007. He currently serves on the U.S. OPIC Advisory Committee and previously served on the advisory boards of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and the Institute for Infrastructure Finance.

    Mr Ladislav Artnik joined Slovene Export Corporation (today SID) in 1992 where he was responsible for both, medium and short term credit insurance. In 2005 he was appointed a President of SID - First Credit Insurance Company. He has long-term experience in marine and credit insurance.

    Mr Raoul Ascari joined SACE in 2000 and is now the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining SACE, he worked for FIAT USA as Vice President for International Finance and Head of the Washington DC office and as the Advisor to the Italian Executive Director at the World Bank. .Mr Ascari teaches Development Economics at the Postgraduate School on "Economics and International Studies" of the Catholic University of Milan.

    Mr Daniel Riordan is the Executive Vice President & Managing Director of Zurich Emerging Markets Solutions. He joined Zurich in 1997, previously serving as a Senior Executive and Vice President for insurance of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). He is a member of the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Russia Business Council and also serves as a member of the Institute of International Finance and the Institute for International Economics.
